Was Founded In 1969, three more institutions were merged with WAIT: the Western Australian School of Mines,the Muresk Agricultural College,and the Schools of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy.Between 1966 and 1976 WAIT experienced an expansion from 2,000 to 10,000 students.

In 2009, Curtin became the first university in the Australian Technology Network to be listed on the Academic Ranking of World Universities of research universities.

Eligible Country: Australian and International Students are eligible to apply for the scholarships.

Eligible Criteria: To be eligible for this scholarship the following conditions are  eligible to apply for a scholarship.

Eligible Course: Available to pursue an undergraduate/ postgraduate degree program in Natural, Physical, or Biological Science.

Eligible Criteria: To be eligible for this scholarship the following conditions are  eligible to apply for a scholarship.

Applicants must be entering their third year or higher of a Bachelor’s degree or enrolled in any year in postgraduate degree (MS, PhD, MD, or comparable) program. Candidates must be enrolled as a half-time student or greater, majoring in a natural, physical or biological science.  Applicant must be enrolled in an application program on or about 1 September of the award year
